Spring is in full bloom, brimming with vitality.
More good news has been announced from industrial projects in the Suzhou Industrial Park–Xiangcheng Cooperation Zone.

Following the project of Huiou Precision Co., Ltd,
which achieved “start construction immediately upon land acquisition” last week ,

(March 19)
another existing enterprise expansion project in the zone—
the new facility project of SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd—
has successfully obtained its Construction Project Planning Permit,
also realizing “start construction upon land acquisition.”

This marks an accelerated pace for capacity expansion and upgrading among existing enterprises.

SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd

SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd is a China–Singapore joint venture and a comprehensive precision manufacturing enterprise. Rooted in Suzhou and dedicated to the precision manufacturing sector for two decades, the company has consistently adhered to a strategy of specialized expertise, establishing an integrated business system that encompasses mold design and development, precision machining, and large-scale mass production.

Its products are widely applied in key high-end sectors such as automotive, hard disk drives, consumer electronics, and industrial electrical equipment, with deep integration into the modern industrial manufacturing value chain. The company’s business footprint spans Europe, North and South America, East Asia, and Africa.

The company brings together top-tier professionals specializing in mold design, fixture design, gauge design, and mold manufacturing. Its core team possesses over 30 years of deep industry experience.

In particular, in niche segments such as automotive wiper systems, sunroofs, and fuel pipe deep-drawn components, the company has developed a mature and comprehensive design and manufacturing system, along with proven capabilities to solve complex technical challenges. It is able to provide customized development of high-precision molds, tooling fixtures, and high-quality stamped components.

At present, SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd has obtained certifications for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D quality management systems, as well as the ISO 14001 environmental management system, establishing a rigorous full-process control framework.

Meanwhile, the company continues to advance intelligent upgrading and equipment iteration, introducing high-end production and inspection equipment from Japan, Singapore, and Germany, including precision stamping presses ranging from 100 to 2,500 tons, laser cutting and welding systems, machining centers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Combined with machine vision and industrial robots, these capabilities enable fully automated production and inspection, continuously strengthening the company’s core competitiveness.

This decision by SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd to expand its presence in the Cooperation Zone

and increase investment and production capacity marks a critical step in seizing industrial

opportunities and advancing toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.

The new project is located south of Hucundang Road and west of Zhousidun Road, with a total land area of 34,677 square meters.

According to the plan, the new facility will introduce more than 30 mold processing machines, over 50 stamping presses, and more than 10 large-scale measuring instruments. In addition, an Aerospace Sheet Metal Division will be newly established, marking the company’s expansion into the high-end aerospace sector.

Alongside hardware upgrades, SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd has embedded “environmental” and “intelligent” development into its strategic blueprint. A 2 MW rooftop photovoltaic system will be installed at the new facility, with an expected annual power generation of approximately 2.2 million kWh. Once operational, a substantial portion of the plant’s electricity demand will be met through self-generated green energy.

In addition, the company will leverage digital technologies to reengineer its storage, handling, and picking processes, comprehensively enhancing overall production performance and accelerating its transition toward digitalized and intelligent manufacturing.

The expansion and reinvestment of existing enterprises is a direct reflection

of regional industrial vitality and the quality of the business environment.

The successful permitting of SPI Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd’s new project and its realization of “start construction upon land acquisition” not only mark a significant milestone in the company’s development, but also serve as a vivid example of the Cooperation Zone’s efforts to cultivate and strengthen existing enterprises and to promote the upgrading of the precision manufacturing industry.

Upon completion and commissioning, the project will substantially enhance the company’s production capacity and market competitiveness, while further consolidating the Cooperation Zone’s industrial foundation in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector, supporting the development of industrial clustering and advancement toward higher-end value chains.

The Suzhou Industrial Park–Xiangcheng Cooperation Zone will continue to strengthen its hallmark “pro-business service” brand, further advance the “Three Services” initiative, and continuously optimize the business environment. It will fully support the “second-phase entrepreneurship” of existing enterprises while attracting more high-quality new projects to take root and grow.

By fostering an ecosystem where outstanding companies and projects can thrive, the Cooperation Zone aims to cultivate sustainable growth and jointly build a new pattern of high-quality development.
